Your meme and your words
Caption text is used to draw your canvas preview in your browser. If you choose an image from your device, it is loaded locally for drawing; it is not uploaded or sent to a server. Downloading creates a PNG on your device.
No account, analytics, or tracking
This static website does not provide account registration, analytics, or a contact form, and its code does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your hosting provider or browser may process ordinary technical request information under their own policies.
Outside links
The author page links to independently operated websites and services. If you follow one of those links, that destination may handle information under its own privacy policy.
Fonts
The visual design loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser may send ordinary network request information to that provider; caption text and selected images are not included in those requests.
Optional online jokes
Only pressing “Get an online joke” requests content from JokeAPI by Sv443. The request includes a selected category and safety filters. Your browser sends ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and browser information, to that provider; the site sends no caption text, photos, uploads, cookies, or account information with the request. The original Joke lab does not require this API. JokeAPI controls its own service and policies.
