GIGGLE NOTES / SOFT SCIENCE
The snack break manifesto
In defense of a little treat and a moment away from the screen.

A small intermission
A snack break is an old and storied ritual. You leave your desk, locate something crunchy, and briefly become a person who is not looking at a screen.
No productivity math
The snack does not need to be earned. It can simply be delicious. This is a radical proposition, but we are prepared to stand by it.
Back when ready
Return when you are ready. Or stay in the kitchen and admire the light. The manifesto is flexible.
Small things count. So does sending the silly picture.
